Decent networks in the Wincanton area?

Postby Geary » Sun Mar 17, 2013 10:54 pm

Sup folks, as many of you know the internet at ShinyLAN can grind to a halt due to load on many occasions. However, with the advent of overpriced smartphones WiFi/USB tethering is a viable option for personal web-browsing off the Village Hall's network.

So, I ask you, has anyone had success with any specific carrier? I'm currently on T-Mobile/EE but have an 02 sim standing by if the coverage isn't great.

when I lived in the area, I found Vodafone to be the best.

that was, comparing between 3, o2 and vodafone and orange.

I found 3 was OK (from memory) at the last event.
